Oia, the most famous settlement of Santorini, is mainly known for its unique sunset, a unique moment when the sun sinks into the sea against the eerie and charming backdrop of the volcano. Oia is located in the northernmost part of the caldera and while the permanent residents do not exceed 1,000 the place is full of tourists at least 7-8 months of the year.

The traditional village of Oia preserves unchanged the Cycladic architecture in all the buildings, from the houses to the oia luxury villas. The distance of Oia from Fira is about 10 km, while the picturesque port of Ammoudi with its beautiful fish taverns is only 3 minutes away by car.
