The new parkinson device has a "smart" sensor that records the patient's movement 24 hours a day, as well as an accelerometer to record the speed of his movement. With these two components it records all the motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease, ie slow motion (slow movements), tremor (tremor), hyperactivity, immobility, falls, and even freezing, (the sudden "freezing" of movement of the patient who immobilizes him for a while on the spot). In addition, it calculates the energy, i.e. the calories consumed by the patient's body and records the postures of his body. The parkinson device uses artificial intelligence and special algorithms to analyze the data collected.
This data is presented to the doctor in the form of graphs and numbers, when the patient returns the device. The doctor uses the results to assess the patient's condition and make the necessary adjustments to his treatment. It also has the ability to monitor the effectiveness of the medication the patient is taking, correlating the time of taking it with his symptoms. The development of the parkinson device is extremely important for the patients and therefore determines their treatment based on two important but subjective criteria: the findings of the clinical examination in the doctor's office and the description of a typical day by the patient himself. Now, however, they have a reliable indicator of their motor status, which describes with great sensitivity and specificity all the motor symptoms that afflict them.
