Milos is a volcanic Greek island in the Aegean Sea, north of the Cretan Sea with intense geomorphological and historical interest. It is said that its name comes from the word "velos" which evolved into "apple" and meant "sheep".

The settlements of the island are in accordance with the picturesque character of the Cyclades, with white and blue colors, cobbled alleys, ideal for walks morning and night. The character of the island is complemented by the settlements that consist mainly of wires (traditional buildings for storing boats), which break the Cycladic tradition of white with blue and are painted in various colors, such as Klima, Skinopi and Mandrakia.
