Mykonos Panormos Bay

Mykonos is an island in the Aegean Sea and belongs to the Cyclades. The capital of the island is Chora located on the west side and has a population of about 11,000 inhabitants. The tourist development in Mykonos started early in the 1960s and today the nightlife of Mykonos is considered one of the liveliest, most special and active in all of Europe. But apart from the nightlife, the island is not inferior of natural beauty, with beaches such as Panormos, Agios Sostis, the Kalo Livadi, Ftelia, Super Paradise and others flooded daily during the summer months by Greek and foreign tourists.

Celebrities of the international Jet Set arrive from the Easter period until the end of October on the island of Mykonos. The municipality of Mykonos also includes the islands of Rineia and the historic Delos, as well as smaller islands around it. As a normal consequence of the tourist development that the island met, small, medium and large tourist units have been developed to accommodate this large volume of tourists annually.

Panormos beach in Mykonos is one of the most famous as it has crystal clear waters that are not as cold as the other beaches of the island. It is located in the north just before Agios Sostis and it is a well organized beach, although you will not find sunbeds but only umbrellas. In the surrounding area from Panormos beach, significantly luxurious accommodations have been developed that offer the traveler private moments of relaxation and combine simple luxury with elegant Cycladic beauty. mykonos panormos villas

Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or for the intense nightlife of the island in Panormos you will feel at home. The fewer people than the rest of Mykonos allow the visitor to enjoy the natural beauty in peace while the narrow streets of the picturesque village give you the opportunity to get to know the authentic Greek culture and taste Mediterranean cuisine.
